Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer an initial free telephone discussion?
Yes. Please feel free to telephone me to discuss your needs and ask any questions you may have, free of charge, and with no obligation to book a session.
How long do counselling and psychotherapy sessions last?
Sessions last 50 minutes, the standard length within the profession.
How many sessions might I need?
There is no expectation or commitment to any number of sessions. It is very much up to you and the progress you feel you are making. It is something we would keep under regular review. I offer both short and long term therapy, and you are of course free to complete therapy at any time that is right for you.
How frequently will I need to attend?
Again, that is very much up to you, and the nature of the issue. Some people like to attend weekly at first and gradually increase the length of time between sessions as they progress, however it is entirely your preference.
What is the cost of a session?
A session fee is £45. Any initial telephone discussion is free of charge.
